Patricia "Trish" A. Keeley, 81, passed away January 2, 2018, at 8:30 pm in The Caring Place with her best friend of 44 years Deanna Gause at her side. She was born September 24, 1936, to the late Wallace and Leta Donaldson Keeley in Cranberry Township, Trish graduated from Franklin Area High School in 1955 and she went on to work for the Franklin Regional Medical Center for 33 years. Patricia was a life long member of Christ United Methodist Church and was known to have a very faithful heart. She was able to express her faith by singing with the church choir for 58 years. For many years she would be seen at the back door greeting and passing bulletins for the Sunday morning church services. Trish began attending the primary Sunday school class when she was ten years old and participated in the junior department and the youth fellowship. As an adult, she was a member of the Christ Ambassador Class and participated with the Christ United Methodist Women and was presently a member of the Albright Class.Left to cherish her memory is her dear friend Deanna L. Gause of Franklin. Over the years these two ladies were frequently seen at many of our local restaurants, most recently Eat-n-Park where the staff became their friends. Trish and Deanna shared many memories together over the years and Trish will be truly missed. Also surviving are her sister, Velma Witmer , her friend and caretaker, Peggy Lore; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Trish was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Twila Toy and Imogene Graham; and her brothers, Lee and Andrew Keeley. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018, at The Caring Place 103 N. 13th Street, Franklin PA 16323 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastors Sam Wagner and David Janz officiating. Trish will be laid to rest in the Bethel Cemetery with her parents.The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 1135 Buffalo Street, Franklin, PA 16323.Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
