Joyce A. Mong, 78, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in Butler, PA.She was born in Franklin on April, 13, 1940 to Bernard B. and Ruth (Reynolds) Baker.Joyce was a graduate of Franklin High School.She worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for Polk Center for over 28 years.Joyce married the love of her life, Raymond L. Mong, on September 4, 1982; he preceded her in death on July 15, 2007.In her spare time, Joyce had a vibrancy for life. She was a lifetime member of the Rocky Grove Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gambling and playing cards. Joyce took numerous winter trips to Florida with her friends that lived there and that were from Canada. Joyce also enjoyed people, especially her own family; her grandchildren are "her blessing" and she cherished the time she spent with them. She was a lover of animal, especially dogs.Joyce is survived by her 3 sons, Walter "Rocky" Bailey and his wife, Lori, of Texas, Douglas Mong and his wife, Rose, of Franklin, and Gregory Mong and his wife, Donna Marie, of Florida; her 4 daughters, Natalie Desko and her husband, Steve, of Polk, Melissa Bish and her husband, Michael, of Franklin, Carolyn Kiesel and her husband, Michael, of Franklin, and Debra Reddick and her husband, Gary, of Butler.She is further survived by her grandchildren, Isabella Mong, Stevie Desko and his wife, Tarina, Lucas Desko and his wife, Amanda, Cory Desko, Joseph Desko, Carley Kiesel, Emiley Kiesel, Stephanie Kiesel, Victor Taylor, Larissa Bailey, Jacob Bailey, and Ty Bailey; her great-grandchildren, Logan and Laina Patterson, L.J. Desko, Faith Bonzo, Mia Bailey, Cam Dashor and Addyson Beach; and her unborn great-great-grandson.Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA, from 2 pm to 4 pm to 6 pm to 8 pm.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., at 11 am, with Reverend Joseph Martin, retired pastor, officiating.Internment will be held at Old Sandy Cemetery.Memorial contributions can be made in Joyce's name to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 South Main Street, Seneca, PA  16346.To send flowers, cards, online condolences, or for more information, family and friends are invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.

And when we would come to see my grandparents all us kids would get together and played outside all the time..Joyce fly high lady and you’ll surely be missed by everyone who knew you. Sorry To Hear This!Joyce was always Happy to see me!I have A Memory of When One Time Mom was Babysitting for her and when she was done she was walking down the Road to go Home and Baily’s Goat was chasing her down the road!Mom ran as fast as she could until she got to Bullion Store!We thought it was So Funny but she didn’t.Then when Mom was in Venango Manor a Lady that brought in a Goat!Mom started yelling really Loud!I told the lady the story and She Left!Joyce was a Wonderful Person!So Sorry for the Family!Fly High Joyce!Rose Ann (Coon)Voorhies
