Carl G. Bingman, 75, of Franklin passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born on November 14, 1941 in Titusville, to the late Arnold and Ruth (Range) Bingman. Carl graduated from Franklin Area High School in 1960. He then went on to pursue his passion for mechanics and serving others. He owned a gas station in Franklin and also worked for Chicago Pneumatic Tool, Brown Drilling, Joy and GE in Erie. Most of all, Carl enjoyed working on oil leases. In addition to those jobs, Carl worked for Venango Technology School in the Mechanics Department and drove bus for the visually impaired.Mr. Bingman married his wife, Lois Osborn, on June, 16 1962, who survives. Along with his wife, Lois, survivors include his son Pastor Jeffrey Bingman (Kim) of Apollo. His loving daughters Carla Drake (Larry) of Pleasantville, Melissa Edwards (Jason) of Rockland, and Stacy Baker (Joshua) of Rocky Grove. Two sisters; Marlene Brown of Franklin, and Barbara "Sue" Bingman of Ashville, OH. Grandchildren include; Andrew Bingman (Jacqueline), Christin Bashioum (Thomas), Adam Bingman (Samantha), Brady Bingman, Larry Drake III (Taylor), Jason Drake (Morgan), Cody Baker, Blayne Baker, Ariyah Baker, and Cole Edwards. Carl also adored his ten great-grandchildren; Benjamin, Emma, Kendalynne, Abigail, Adaline, Cameron, Bella, Jaxon, Stella, and Wyatt who will be born soon. Preceding Mr. Bingman in death are his parents, Arnold and Ruth Bingman.Mr. Bingman was an outdoors man, and enjoyed hunting for over 50 years. Carl loved watching the drag races and even worked on a crew for a drag racing team for a time. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Poking fun and teasing his family, was always Carl's favorite part of any family gathering. Friends are invited to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Randy Powell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and retired Rev.   5. Wo sorry for the loss of Carl. I got to know Jeff when I worked with him at Mooney’s Jewels when he was still in high school. I remember Carl coming in every once in a while. I know he will always be in your hertst and bring you peace in knowing he is out of pain. Marilyn (Forsell) Miller
