Joyce,l your life was cut to short,I will miss your smiles and how you laughed, The fun we always had going to haunted houses on Halloween and pizza afterwards, detasseling corn ,then swimming after a hot day of work to cool off. Playing volleyball or cards, you were always fun to be around. now you are in the arms of the Lord and have angel wings. May our Lord watch over you always… Love always Tess
As young women, we shared mothering concerns, helping juggle work, and school activities. There were rented movies, board games, frozen pizzas, and yard volleyball games followed by Koolaid on the deck. As empty-nesters, a spur-of-the-moment phone call could result in a road-trip for pie, a movie, or a drawn-out game of Scrabble. Later when I moved to another area of Iowa, visits back were always greeted with open hospitality. I am glad to have had Joyce’s friendship over many years, and know she will be missed. Rest in peace, but please grace heaven with your humor! Bonny Hall, Iowa friend
I’m so sorry for your loss. Sometimes the sting of death can be overwhelming. Please remember that Our Heavenly Father knows your disquieting thoughts. His words can bring us great comfort. At Isaiah 41:10 it says…”Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you by my right hand of righteousness.”
So saddened to read that Joyce has passed away….I thought of her often but never even knew how or where she was…though I found her on Facebook once a month or so ago but it was not her. I am so sorry for the families loss…….hugs to all. Blessings. Connie (Feely) Morrison
