Ronald L. "Mouse" Master, 83, of Franklin, died on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:23 a.m. at Sugar Creek Station, following an illness. Born in Oil City on May 16, 1933, Ron was the son of the late Cecil C. and Beulah Perrett Master. He married the former Patricia Robson on July 3, 1957, and she survives.Ron was a 1953 graduate of Cranberry High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Army and served during the Korean War Era in Germany until November 1961. He worked as a welder for Pennzoil and retired in April 1996, after working there for 40 years. He attended the Seventh Street First Church of God in Franklin. Ron enjoyed golf, and especially loved to golf at Whitetail Golf Course. He also enjoyed reading, watching television, and reading about wars - especially the Civil War. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family.In addition to his wife, Patricia, Ron is survived by his son, Michael Scott Master and his wife, Lori Ann, of Franklin; and his two daughters, Sheree Dunlap and her husband, Edward, of Cochranton, and Debbie Dunlap and her husband, Floyd Jr., of Franklin.Ron is additionally survived by his six grandchildren, Aaron Dunlap and his wife, Robin, of Wellington, FL, Alicia Bates and her husband, Keith, of Fayetteville, NC, Jared Dunlap and his wife, Ashley, of Grove City, Linleigh Master and her fiance', Sandro Kraft, of London, England, Branden Master of Irwin, PA, and Garett Master of Franklin.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara K. Master.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Thursday, August 11th from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services for Ron will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 12th at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Leichliter, pastor of the Seventh Street First Church of God, officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the local V.E.T.S. Honor Guard. Interment will be in Lupher Chapel Cemetery.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the V.E.T.S.
