Dorothy L. Doutt

Dorothy L. Doutt, 87, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, April 4th at 7:15 a.m. at Sugarcreek Station.Born April 17, 1927, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Charles Gordon and Florence Hasson Davison. She married Harold C. Doutt on August 29, 1947, and he preceded her in death in 1990.Dorothy retired from Polk Center in 1985, where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 31 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and babysat for 30 years.Dorothy is survived by her 2 sons, Ricky L. Doutt of Polk and Randy L. Doutt and his wife, Linda, of Franklin; and her daughter, Lois Hanna of Willamsburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Troy M. Hanna and his wife, Vicki, of Williamsburg, Traci R. Hanna-Yoder of Lewistown, Shawnee S. Doutt-Wood and her husband, Alan, of Polk, Shannon S. Doutt-Dolgas and her husband, Nathan, of Sea Grove, NC, and Ryan J. Doutt of Landstuhl, Germany; and her 10 great-grandchildren.Dorothy is additionally survived by her brother, Harry "Skip" Davison and his wife, Nancy, of Polk.In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Harold "John" C. Doutt, Jr.; her 4 brothers, Jack Davison, Arthur Davison, Bob Ray and Gene Davison; and her 3 sisters, Margaret Davison, Virginia Reagle, and Mary Adams.There will be no services for Dorothy at her request.
