John M Sciarrone

John M. Sciarrone, 82, of Polk, passed away on Wednesday, December 30th at 9:00 a.m. at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin.Born June 20th, 1933 in Franklin, John was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Caccamo Sciarrone. He worked as a diesel mechanic for PennDOT for many years. John was a Korean Era US Army Veteran. He enjoyed country and western music, eating out with his friends, and enjoyed his C.B. radio.John is survived by his sisters: Sandy Sciarrone of Bradenton, FL, and Cathy Carter of Franklin; and his special nieces: Billiejo Carter of Hermitage and Cathiejo Carter of Franklin. John is additionally survived by his best buddy and long-time companion, his dog "Hobo."In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers: Ange, Mick, Sal, and Val Sciarrone.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street in Franklin. Per John's request, no visitation or funeral services will be held.
