Guestbook

  1. I was saddened to hear of Doug Boring’s passing. I worked for Doug at Conair a little over 20 years ago.
    He was a good boss.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Praying for you at this difficult time. Doug is at peace now, and in a better place. May you feel the warmth of prayers wrapping around you like a warm blanket. Carol & Fred Shoup

  4. Dear Shirl – Do not think that we did not notice all that you did for Doug and for Aunt Pauline as well. You are one of God’s angels who help others in time of need. Take care. Doug’s Cousin, Sandra Eakin Wilson.

  5. My condolences to all of Doug’s loved ones. A memory of Doug that comes to mind was when he taught Mark and me how to pole vault when we were about 7 or 8. How we didn’t kill ourselves falling onto a pile of sawdust, I’ll never know. Well, we didn’t get that high anyway.
Again, my sincerest condolences to those who knew and loved Doug.
    Hugh Benedict

  6. Thoughts and prayers to Doug’s family and friends. Can’t help but smile when I recollect some of the stories Jeff Bickel shared about the antics between himself, Fred and Doug when they worked in the small metal building at Conair many years ago. What were they thinking putting those 3 in that building alone ? Hope your memories of him bring a smile to your face and lessen your sorrow. God Bless.

  7. To the family of Doug Boring,
I’m very sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. I had worked with Doug on ambulance calls, while helping teach the EMT classes at Vo-Tech many years ago and on the safety crew at Tri-City Speedway. He was a very good EMT and helped many people over the years. He will be missed.

  9. Dave and Joyce Eakin extend our sympathy and condolences to the Boring family members . Doug will be missed by all.

  10. I wish I could have known Doug as an adult and churchman. I remember the good times we had together growing up in Plummer. Once he was showing me how to fish. His line was caught in a tree so he told me one couldn’t be a Christian and a fisherman because a fisherman had to swear.
Thank you for the good memories of childhood friendship and faith.

  11. I’m deeply sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. Know doubt you feel overwhelmed with grief. When coping with the sting of death I have found these words at Isaiah 41:10 to be helpful. It says:”He (Jehovah God) will strength you and He will fortify you and take you by His right hand of righteousness.” We all at times need His strong strength to get through even one day! May this help you today.
