Theodore Earl Green, Sr. "Tiger," 91, of Franklin, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, April 25th at Sugar Creek Station in Franklin.Born August 10th, 1924 in Franklin, Ted was the son of the late Earl A. and Lucy Mirilda Rice Green. On July 15, 1947, he married Marie Immaculate DiDominic, who survives. Ted was a WWII Navy veteran and worked as a machinist and time study analyst for Joy Manufacturing.Ted was a member of Myrtle Lodge #316 F&AM, Blue Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason at the Valley of New Castle. He was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed golfing, traveling, and played the violin. He was always up-beat, jovial, and full of energy.Ted is survived by his wife, Marie; his daughter, Carol A. O'Claire, and her husband, Richard, of Delaware, OH; his son, Theodore E. Green, Jr., and his companion, Louise A. Kelley, of Franklin; and his sister, Gladys M. Coxson, of Franklin. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Richard O'Claire II of Westerville, OH, Darcie M. Green of Oil City, and Daidre A. Green of Rocky Grove; as well as his great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Nathan, Caleb, Jordan, and Skyler.Ted was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Lee "Popeye" Green and Donovan Green; and his sister, Mary Miller.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Myrtle Lodge #316 F&AM, 1257 Liberty Street, Franklin, PA 16323.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street in Franklin, on Wednesday, April 27th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
