Marjorie E. Keller, 91, of Franklin passed away quietly at Golden Living Center in Oil City, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:49 a.m. Born on August 10, 1923 in Cadogan, Pennsylvania, Marjorie was raised in the Franklin area. She was the oldest of 7 children born to Aron Wesley and Grace Smith McClelland. She was a 1941 graduate of Franklin High School. While attending high school, she played violin with the school orchestra. Marjorie married William Keller in 1976 and they made their home on Bully Hill. She was a graduate of the L.P.N. School of Nursing in Oil City and worked for 35 years at the former Franklin Hospital in the O.R., and then at Central Supply.Marjorie and her husband were active members of Sandycreek Grange and the First Baptist Church in Franklin - she taught Sunday School, sang in the Church Choir, and participated in the missionary group. She enjoyed reading, listening to gospel music, and working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Marjorie is survived by her step-son, Douglas Keller and his wife, Nancy, of Franklin; and her step-daughter, Susan Hirschini and her husband, William, of Franklin. She is also survived by her sisters, Phyllis McClelland and Wilda McClelland, both of Franklin; her sisters-in-law, Peggy McClelland, Marilyn S. McClelland, and Marilyn C. McClelland, all of Franklin; and her brother-in-law, Robert McElhaney, of Harrisville. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren.Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Aron Wesley and Grace Smith McClelland; her husband, William Keller; her son, Richard McClelland; her daughter, Darlene Theuret; her granddaughter, Jennifer Theuret; her brothers, Glenn, Wayne, and Wilbur McClelland; and her sister, Doris McElhaney.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Franklin with Pastor Randy Powell, pastor of the church, officiating.
