Marjorie L Lowrie, 86, of Franklin, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2nd, at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born October 19th, 1927 in Canal Township, Marjorie was the daughter of the late John Clark and Ina Mae Long Wyant. She was married to Adelmer B. (Dell) Lowrie Jr. on August 31, 1945, and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1985.Marjorie was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granchildren. She is survived by her 3 sons, Kenneth Lowrie of Franklin, Thomas Lowrie and his wife, Lisa, of Cranberry, and Robert Lowrie and his wife, Patricia, of Venus; her 3 daughters, Donna Snyder and her husband, David, of Franklin, Marjorie Heffern and her husband, Dennis, of York, and Barbara Dickinson and her husband, Jim, of Oil City. Marjorie is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and her 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is additionally survived by her brother, Richard Wyant, of Erie, and her sister-in-law, Earlene Wyant, of Franklin.In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Beach; her 3 sisters, Mary Weldon, Sara Hollibaugh, and Elsie Greathouse; and her 4 brothers, John, Windy, Lemuel and Charles Wyant.Funeral services for Marjorie will be private and will be held at the convenience of her family.
