I am so thankful we were in PA and got to see Dick one last time, just 4 days before he passed away. I have so many fond memories of Dick, beginning back in the 70’s when I was a young and somewhat inexperienced wife and mother. Whenever I hit a rough patch I knew I could find love and comfort at the Cauvel home – and what stands out most from those memories is Dick in the kitchen, pulling food out of their refrigerator telling me I needed to eat and insisting it would make me feel better. So I did …. and it did. I feel honored to have known Dick. He now joins Cody as another special loved one who I look forward to seeing again one day. ?? Love Tammy
I worked for Dick back in the early 70’s washing cars and other things. I will always remember his courtesy and generosity to me and my family. Some of my happiest memories from my youth were spent with him and his family .. He and his family were there for my family when my father passed away in 97. . I will always remember that great smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Cauvel family. Thomas M. Smith

He and his family have been such a blessing to Tom and I and our families, and our love, thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.
