Kristy K Hines, 62, of Franklin, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24th, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.Born September 13, 1952 in Franklin, Kristy was the daughter of the late George M. and Betty Lawson Wood, Jr. She married Roy E. Hines on July 25, 1991, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2014.Kristy was a homemaker. She also previously worked for the Franklin School District in the school cafeterias. She was a member of the V.F.W.,and enjoyed playing poker there and also at various casinos. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.Kristy is survived by her sons, Jason Ross of Franklin and Dave Hines of Wyattville; her daughter, Valerie Wheeling and her husband, Monte, of Cooperstown; and her grandchildren, Jossilyn Ross of Grove City, Matthew and Michael Wheeling of Cooperstown, and David, Julie and Megan Hines of Wyattville. She is also survived by her brother, Michael J. Wood and his partner, Kevin Wagner, of St. Petersburg, FL; and her sisters, Sandy Hoffman, and her husband, John, and Barb McFeaters, all of Franklin. Kristy is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her dog, Lacy.In addition to her parents and husband, Kristy was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ann Platt.A memorial service for Kristy will be held at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Friday, September 26th at 11:00 a.m., with Rev.
