I will remember all the things he did for me and taught me. Because of him I want to be a Farmer. We rode the tractor together and he was teaching me how to use them. We grew corn, potatoes and pumpkins. I will miss him and think of him every day. Love Rex

I knew Orah years ago, he was a very nice person, he was a very hard worker, loved his family very much, he was a very good friend, he enjoyed working on the farm down the road from where he lived, I never heard him complain about anything, always seemed to be in good spirits, always had a smile on his face every time I saw him, he was always polite and friendly, he was a wonderful person and a pleasure to know. My deepest heart felt sympathy and prayers go out to his family. Rest In Peace Orah, you are in a much better place now. You will be missed but, never forgotten and loved by all that knew you.
To the Shaffer family:
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you for the loss of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the difficult days that lie ahead.
Sincerely,

This is going to be very hard for me since i have known Orrie for 4 years and have worked with him as a co-worker and good friend. I have been blessed to have known his family as well. My heart aches for the passing of a wonderful friend. As always there are good days and bad that we all must share as co-workers. He was such an amazing, smart, witty, and knowledgeable man. I loved his family and i loved him. My family as well has come to know him also., and he will be sadly missed. I miss you Orrie and thanks for all the fun times we shared at work and the summer i worked for you. Love you!!!
We are so very sorry for this loss of your loved one.The neighborhood will miss seeing Orie and his tractor going back and forth between farms, doing what he loved, growing things. The kids enjoyed the fruits of his labors, the sweet corn and the pumpkins and the many visits to the “Patch”. May your many memories of all the good times help you heal and bring you peace.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Love and prayers. Tom and Trudy.

This is really hard for me since i’ve known Orrie for 4 wonderful years. He not only was a co-worker, he was an excellent friend. I have grown to know his family as well and he has grown to know mine also. His knowledge, wisdom, and integrity will be known by him. He was the greatest Mill Wright and very witty. He will be sadly missed by my family and myself. A true friend!!!! I love you Orrie.

I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. At times like these it can feel like nothing can bring us comfort. Please know that our Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, understands how we feel. He can bring us true comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4
