Leland El-Bo Joseph Mott, 32, of 701 E 2nd Street ,Oil City died at 6:33 AM ,August 21, 2013 at St. Vincents in Erie, with his family by his bed side. Born May 20, 1981 in Franklin, PA, Leland was the son of Arthur Mott and Florence (Card) Dodge. Leland was employed as a cook for various restaurants through out the area. He enjoyed music, camping, being outside, drawing, and playing basketball, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. Leland should be remembered for his smile and practical jokes. In addition to his mother, Leland is survived by his son, TyShon Arthur Law of Oil City; his brothers, Arthur Andre Mott of Pittsburgh, Albert S. Dodge III of Franklin, and Curtis L. Mott of Franklin; his sisters, Lisa McAninch and her significant other, Kenneth Lawson, Michelle Dodge, and Lona Haggerty and her husband, Jonathan all of Oil City; and his nieces and nephews, Guy, Tevin, Jazzamine, Timothy, Samantha, Patrick, Sophia, Michael, Jordan, Ashli, and Aaron. He is additionally survived by his girl friend, Siobhan Cardenas of Titusville; and his close family friends, Jim Bob Wood and his wife, Bridget, of Franklin, Terry Blakley of Pittsburgh, and Micah Reagle of Oil City. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Florence Card; his paternal grandparents, Garfield Beatrice Mott, his cousin, Jennifer Card, and a close friend, Ricky Harrelson. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Saturday, August 24th, 2013, from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 25th, 2013 at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., with James Wood, a family friend and Rev. David Smith of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment will be in Scrubgrass Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses. You was a special person, you had such a big heart. No matter what you was going through you always made me smile, and everyone around you. I still can’t believe your not here anymore, just the other day I seen you an you had a big beautiful smile on your face, and was calling me jennie, cause you knew I hate that name, lol. Now for me to be here a week later writing my condolences to you its so hard to believe still. My friend, you are with Ricky now, you was taken to soon. We all will be here to look out for Ty and keep your memory alive for him. You touched a lot of people lives, So goodbye my friend till we meet again. You will be missed.
