Donna May Swavey, 79, of 1229 Chestnut Street ,Franklin died on Friday ,December 27, 2013 at UPMC-Northwest Seneca. Born February 21, 1934 in Sugarcreek, Donna was the daughter of the late Jess and Sarah (Walz) Clark. On September 2, 1955 she married Dick G. Swavey, who survives. Mrs. Swavey was a member of Seventh Street Church of God. She enjoyed going for walks, especially to Shop-N-Save, going to garage sales, feeding the birds and the neighborhood cats, riding motorcycles with her husband, and cooking. In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her daughters, Kim Clark and her husband, Don, of Reno and Marcy Schiffer and her husband, Todd, of Franklin; her grandchildren, Ian Jones, Bailey Jones, and Keri Clark all of Franklin; and her great-granddaughter, Jaci Clark of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her half brother, Joseph Maher; and her half sisters, Florence Prichard, and Peg Phillips. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin, with Rev. James Leichliter pastor of the Seventh Street Church of God , officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
