Dorothy B. Brown Dorothy B. Brown, 99, of Casa Grande, AZ, formerly of Franklin, PA, died at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Desert Cove Nursing Center in Chandler, AZ. Born August 5, 1912 in Indiana County, PA, she was daughter of the late George H. and Zelda Hazlett Butler. Dorothy was married on December 9, 1934 to Bernard W. Brown. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1957. Mrs. Brown was a Beautician and a member of the Fox Street Church of God in Franklin. Dorothy is survived her sons Ron Brown and Frank Brown, both of Casa Grande, AZ; her sister, Ethel Arture of Las Vegas, NV; one grandson Craig and his wife from Wildwood , MO; and two great grandsons Joshua and Caleb from Wildwood, MO. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Brown. At Dorothy's request no services will be held. In lieu of cards and flowers, donations may be sent to Venango County Association for the Blind. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin is handling arrangements.
