Myra Sister Louise Burley, 69, of 305 Pacific Street ,Franklin died at 11:49 PM ,December 12, 2012 at UPMC-Northwest Seneca. Born April 14, 1943 in Franklin, PA, Myra was the daughter of the late Earl and Katherine (Henson) Holland. Myra was employed as a Administrative Assistant for the FDIC in Washington, D.C. for 34 years. After her retirement she returned to her childhood home in Franklin. She enjoyed computer games, puzzles, gardening, collecting light houses, latch hooking, sewing, and oil painting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grand children and great-grandchildren. Myra is survived by her sons; Anthony Burley of Franklin and Jan Lindsey of Richmond, VA, her daughters; Alicia Burley of Baltimore, MD, Danielle Lindsey of Franklin, and Louise Burley of Ft. Washington, MD, her sisters; Mary Horne of Struthers, OH and Deborah Andrews and her husband, David, of Youngstown, OH, her seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her aunt Mary Lou Billups of New York, New York, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Earl Stewart, Charles, Edward, and George Holland, and her sister Ethel Mae Conway. Family and friends of Myra will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, December 18th, 2012, from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Joseph P. Martin Jr. pastor of the Cooperstown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Franklin Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5120, Chicago, IL 60693 and/or American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center BLVD, Suite 700, Pittsburgh, PA 15235-5507.
