Mabel Pratt Mabel Pratt, 84, of Oil City, passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Thursday, April 07, 2011, at the Oil City Presbyterian Home, where she had resided for the past several years. Born October 6, 1926, in Bakertown, PA, Mabel was the daughter of the late Hugh Cecil and Eva Lannen Edwards. She was married to Asa Pratt, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle Edwards and her sister, Mrs. George Sutten. A Graveside service for Mabel will be held on Monday, April 11 at 10 a.m. at the Franklin Cemetery, with the Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor of St. Stephen Church in Oil City, officiating. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
