Steven G. Dunlap, age 54, of 611 Kerr Avenue, Emlenton, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his residence. The son of Clarence and Jessie O. Beatty Dunlap he was born December 10, 1957 in Franklin, PA. Mr. Dunlap was employed as a deliveryman by Fyda Freight Liner. He also worked doing maintenance for Kwikfill Gas Company. Steven enjoyed dirt track racing and his dog "Molly". Surviving is his son, Steven Dunlap and wife Tracy of Oakdale, PA; three grandchildren; Trenton, Austin, and Jesslynn Dunlap, all of Oakdale, PA; and three brothers, Michael D. Dunlap of Oil City; Larry F. Dunlap and wife Naomi who now resides in California, Dennis L. Dunlap of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald G. Dunlap. Funeral services will be private and are being handled by the Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA. This was such a shock to me. I know I haven’t seen Steve for a long time, but he was to young for this to happen. I can only remember the school days and happy times way back when. Steve was a good person and will be greatly missed. I’m sure he was also loved very much.
