Patricia Ann Platt

Patricia Platt, 61, of Seneca Woods Drive, Seneca, passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born January 20, 1949, in Franklin, Patricia was the daughter of the late George and Betty Lawson Wood, Jr. She worked at various local restaurants and at Grandview Home until her failing health prevented her from doing so. Patricia enjoyed crafts, needle point and painting, and spending time with her family and her special cat, Holiday. Patricia is survived by her two sons, James Platt and his girlfriend, Christine Irwin, of Seneca, and Dustin Platt and his wife, Shanon, of Honolulu, Hawaii; and her grandson, Aaron Platt, also of Honolulu, Hawaii. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Wood and his life partner, Kevin Wagner, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her three sisters, Sandra Hoffman and her husband, John, Barbara McFeaters, and Kristy Hines and her husband, Roy, all of Franklin. She additionally is survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Patricia will be held at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Linda Deeter, Chaplain at The Caring Place, officiating.
