We are very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Time heals but the hurt doesn’t go away as we are learning after the passing of my (Lynn’s)father right before Christmas.
Remember your fathers “words to live by” – they will always ring true and think of good times passed, they are the memories that bring a smile to your face.

A memory I have is stopping at his store and getting penny candy when I was little. He was always so nice and always threw in a few extra pieces. I am sure he touched many peoples lives but he really is a fond memory I will never forget.

My concolances to the Dick family. I remember Bud and the family from growing up on Pacific St. Many memories come to mind.
I use to visit Dick’s dairy in the early 70’s when I lived on Pacific & Center Street. Merle & his wife were wonder people, every neighborhood would be lucky to have wonderful people like them in it. He will be sadly missed.
