Audine L McElhaney

Audine L. McElhaney, 95, of 351 Causeway Drive, Franklin, died at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Sugar Creek Station. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born June 10, 1914, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Edward E. Frantz and Delta I. Teitsworth Frantz. She was baptized by Dr. Massey and evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman in the Franklin Gospel Tabernacle. She attended Mason School and graduated from the former Cooperstown High School. She and David G. McElhaney were married by the Rev. Perry Cook on May 9, 1934, in the Titusville Church of Christ. Mr. McElhaney preceded her in death. Mrs. McElhaney was a homemaker and a member of Worden Chapel She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev.
