Beverly K Johnson

Beverly K. Johnson Beverly K. Johnson, 64, of Franklin, died early Tuesday morning in her home, after a long battle with cancer. Her death was peaceful, and she was surrounded by her much-loved friends and family. Born May 11th, 1945, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Donald and Jean King. Her brother, Fred King and his wife, Garnet, Bev's sister, Mary Ann, her youngest brother, Gary ,and his wife, Rhonda, all of Franklin, still survive. She was also close to her siblings-in-law, Diana Johnson, Ellen and John Dalmaso, and Nancy and Paul Tidd. She was a 1963 graduate of Franklin High School. On May 14, 1966, she married her high school sweetheart, Floyd Johnson, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2000. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her nephew, Larry Huff and her brothers-in law, Arthur Huff and Glenn Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Shelly Coast and her husband, Darren, and their children, Nicole and Zac, all of Franklin. She's also survived by her son, Floyd Johnson, Jr. of Erie, and his children, Cody Bump, Ryan, Brandon, Kristy, Jesse, and Cassie Johnson. Bev especially enjoyed spending time with her closely-knit family, playing bingo and camping. Friends may call from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday, July 29 at the Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 30 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dave Smith, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, presiding.
