Donna L. Snyder, 81, of 322 S. Main St., Titusville, passed on to Heaven at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008 at South Woods. Born Dec. 10, 1926, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Clarence W. Smith and Marian F. Gable. She was a 1945 graduate of Rocky Grove High School. She was a cafeteria cashier for Polk Elementary School. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Titusville First United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of Mt. Carmel Church in Franklin and a member of Mt. Carmel Women's Club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and her family. Mrs. Snyder was married on April 28, 1947, to Richard L. Snyder, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are six children, Richard L. Snyder and wife, Melinda, of Polk, Bonnie M. Dodd and husband, Bruce, of Cranberry, Darlene L. Lynch of Fostoria, Ohio, Cheryl L. Deeter and husband, Richard, of Cooperstown, Patricia A. Rose and husband, Steven, of Wyndotte, Okla. and Kathleen M. DeLucia and husband, Thomas, of Medina, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Colleen Ahrens of Oil City, Patricia Lindberg and husband, Richard, of Sandusky, N.Y., Carol Campbell and husband, Charles, of Berea, Ohio and Lois Kline of Franklin; and two brothers, Ellwood M. Smith of Wayne and Jerome F. Smith and wife, Jennie, of Broomall. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard L. Snyder; three brothers, Clyde W. Smith, Keith A. Smith and Corliss A. Smith; and a granddaughter, DaShelle J. Lynch. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Blair of Titusville First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Lupher Chapel Cemetery.
