Geraldine B. Prichard

Geraldine B. Prichard, 86, of 1110 Beighlea Ave., Franklin, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at the Caring Place in Franklin. Born Aug. 14, 1922, she was daughter of Pearl Matthews and Samuel Smith. She was married Sept. 5, 1942, to Francis A. Prichard, who survives. Mrs. Prichard was a homemaker. She was a member of the Uniontown Heights Sunday School, the Ladies Aid Society and the Uniontown Social Club and enjoyed bowling. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Prichard is survived by three children, James Prichard and his wife, Karen, of Franklin, Debra Haylett and her husband, Neil, of Franklin, and John Prichard and his wife, Jennifer, of West Springfield. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Todd Robson, of Erie, Lorrie Collins, of Erie, James M. Prichard Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Cleveland, Benjamin Prichard, of West Springfield, Ellie Prichard, of West Springfield, Ryan Haylett, of Franklin, and Brent Haylett of Franklin; and three great-grandchildren, Jamie Collins, of Erie, Sarah Prichard, of Cleveland, and Colin Prichard, of Cleveland. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Prichard was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil E. Smith Sr., and Dale Smith; a daughter, Sandy Robson; and a granddaughter, Stacy Prichard. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St. in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mindy Graham of the Uniontown Heights Sunday School officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.
