Helen L Richey

Helen L. Richey, 96, a resident of 558 Pioneer Road, Franklin, died at 6 AM, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at her residence. Born May 23, 1912, in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Thomas C. Richey Sr., and Maud Clever. Mrs. Richey was employed for 39 years at Manifold Printing and was a member of the East Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by a great-niece, Sandra Dulaney of Franklin, who lovingly took care of Mrs. Richey for five years; a sister-in-law, Betty Richey of Franklin; four nieces, Shirley M. Robinson of Franklin, Jacqueline S. Robinson of Franklin, Marilyn Hall of Boulder, CO, and Carolyn Troutwine of Acranum, OH; two nephews, John Robinson of Gaithersburg, MD, and James Robinson of Philadelphia; and 17 great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Viola E. Robinson, Vera H. Robinson, and an infant sister, Jean; a brother, Thomas C. Richey; and two nephews, Mead C. Robinson Jr., and the Rev. Robert E. Robinson. Friends and Family may call from 7-9 PM Tuesday and 12-1 PM Wednesday, at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Lea Guiney, pastor of the East Grove United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be held in the Graham Cemetery. The Family suggest that memorials be made to the building fund at East Grove United Methodist Church or the VNA Hospice of Venango County.
