Cant ever forget the time you took me fishing in Sugarcreek. When I musta been about 12. We fished from a large fallen tree. extended out into the water. I was closer to shore but you were way out there with your fishing pole. Suddenly you looked at me and your finger to your lips ( shhhh). You knelt down ever so slowly and so very carefully extended your hand way down into the water. It seemed like such a long time. Then ever sooo slowly you stood up with one Very Large Fish. No Hook, line or pole. Bare Handed. Blew my young mind. My Uncle Bob was one Fantastic Fisherman…..Thanks for that Memory Uncle Bob. Your at peace and pain free now… Say Hi to The Others there waitin on the rest…..
Love you Uncle Bob, please RIP with Aunt Eleanor give her a big hug from Jeff and I.
I have so many beautiful memories its hard to pick a favorite one. I think the things you use to say whenever you would be driving and someone would do something off the wall you’d say “that cotton picker!” and I would just think what??? Later I did figure it out that the “cotton picker” just ticked you off. LOL. Loved spending time with you whenever we could. You came to our rescue many times when I was a kid, Loved the pups you always had, Sugar and Sheba (black & white pugs) will always have a spot in my heart and memories. Uncle Bob you have been an amzing Uncle to our family.
Love Jan & Jeff Lawrence

Bob was a family friend and was always willing to help out when something needed done. He was a good friend to my mother as he was to her father. He became a friend to my brothers and me as well. His friendship lasted three generations in our family and I know we will all miss him terribly. Steve.
