Sara E "Sally" Snyder, 79, of Franklin, passed away at 2:24 a.m. on Saturday, September 26th at The Caring Place, where she had resided for the past several years.Born February 18, 1936, Sally was the daughter of the late John W. and Geneva M. Benzenhoefer Snyder. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Sally was a member of the Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Prior to her retirement in 1998, she was employed at Franklin Hospital as Dietary Supervisor.Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin PA. A Memorial Service for Sara will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1410 Pittsburgh Road, Franklin, with Richard Cauvel, Jr., officiating. Entombment will be made in Sunset Hill Memorial Garden Mausoleum.Memorial Contributions may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1410 Pittsburgh Road, Franklin, PA 16323.

My deepest sympathy for Sara Snyder. I became friends with Sara when her mother was in the nursing home in Clarion where I was a nurse. We became friends and I stopped at her house visiting her a few times when I was to Franklin. I often thought of her and wondered where she was. She was a sweet lady. I know she will be missed.

I first met Sara when I was employed at Franklin Hospital.She was very quiet and an excellent employee. Many years later we met when I worked at the Caring Place. We talked about the Franklin Hospital and how things had changed. Rest In Peace.
