Sandra J. Ciko, 70, of 1220 Chestnut Street, Franklin died at 9:15 p.m., October 20, 2012 at UPMC Northwest Medical Center in Seneca. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Born September 12, 1942 in Oil City, PA, Sandra was the daughter of the late Jesse and Hazel (Hepler) Vogan. Sandra was employed as a housekeeper for Sugar Creek Station until her retirement in 2005. She worked as a retail clerk for K-Mart. Sandra was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, nature, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her son Michael A. Ciko and his wife, Kathy of Chicago; her daughter, Victoria R. Ciko and her fiance, Jason P. Burger of Franklin; her brother, Jess Vogan and his wife, Jean of Titusville; three sisters, Donna Long of Franklin, Pat Frank and her husband, Ernie of Saucier, MS, and Gloria Henton and her husband, Larry of Charleston, SC; and 5 grandchildren, Marissa, Zachary, and Allison Ciko all of Chicago, and Kaidlynn and Brynnlee Burger of Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Orr; an infant sister; her brother, Bert Seigworth; and a brother-in-law, George Orr. Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held following visitation on Friday, October 26 at 5 p.m. at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Sam Wagner, associate pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Venango County Humane Society, P.O.       Vicky, when I was told of your mother’s passing, I was deeply
    shocked and unbelieveably surprised.  Paul,from next door, told
    me that he had seen your mom’s obituary in the paper.

    So sorry to hear about your mom.  We lost contact many years ago.  But I still remember the good times we had together; playing cards and drinking coffee.  I know how proud she was of the two of you.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I am so sorry we lost contact.
