Linda Louise Hohn-Goodman

Linda Louise Hohn-Goodman, 67, of Old Mercer Road, Franklin, died at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at her residence. Born November 21, 1944 in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Ruth Patterson Pyle. Linda was married on October 22, 2000 to Ronald Goodman, who survives. Mrs. Goodman was a homemaker and was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her children Joseph Matthew Lopeno and his wife, Ginger of Canfield, Ohio, John Edward White of Franklin, Sharon Colleen Rugh and her husband, James of Franklin, Frances Fern Strawbridge and her husband, Scott of Utica, and Amanda Lynn Kurschinske and her husband, Nathan of Pittsburgh; her 9 grandchildren, Tawnya L. Titus and her husband, James of Edgewater, FL, Jeremy J. Lopeno and his wife, Leah of Burghill, Ohio, Brittany L. Rupert of Erie, Anthony D. Forbes of St. Petersburg, FL, Nykolas E. Beer of Franklin, Scott Strawbridge, Jr. of Utica, Samantha R. Forbes of St. Petersburg, FL, and Noah and Ella Kurschinske, both of Pittsburgh; and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Randy Pyle and his wife, Lynn of Franklin and Mike Pyle of his wife, Sue of Franklin; and two sisters, Grace McQueen and her husband, Glenn of Danville, NC and Judy Umstead and her special friend, Charles Birchard of Franklin. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Donald Martin; two brothers, Harry B. Pyle and Jim Pyle; and her son, William Lopeno. A memorial service will be held at the Gardiner Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Larry Williams of the Faith Baptist Church in Seneca, officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Salvation Army, 302 13th Street, Franklin, PA 16323.
