Gary L. Barger Gary L. Barger, 59, of Cooperstown, passed away at 10:25 a.m. at his residence on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Born on December 11, 1951, in Franklin, Gary was the son of the late Harry and Mae Neely Barger. He was married November 11, 2000, to the former Nancy C. Carson, and she survives. Gary was a retired Diesel Mechanic from PA Dot. He was a 1970 graduate of Oil City High School. He was a member of the Isaac Walton's League, Rouseville Lodge #483, Valley of Oil City, and Valley of Coudersport. Gary enjoyed antiques, hunting and fishing. He especially cherished the time he spent with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his son, Brian Barger and his fiancee, Casey Paup, of Cooperstown; his daughters, Michele Barger of Pittsburgh, Heather Barger and her fiance, William Morsch, of Rochester, NY, and Denise Yarnell, and her fiance Wes Reiswig, of Franklin; his step-son, Norman Kean, Jr. and his wife, Amanda, of Reston, VA; and his step-daughters, Lorraine Weaver of Harrisburg, and Hazel Kean of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Autum Barger of Pittsburgh, Austin Yarnell of Franklin, and Abigail Morsch of Rochester; and his step-grandchildren, John, Gabrielle , Norman, Shawn and Annette Weaver, all of Harrisburg. Gary is additionally survived by his brother, Harry Barger and his wife, Gayle, of Franklin; and his sisters, Linda Zadrozny and her husband, Joseph, and Arlene Noon and her husband, Jim, all of Meadville. Family and friends of Gary will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Edward Saxmon, of Oakland United Methodist Church, officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the V.E.T. S. Honor Guard. Interment will be in Dempseytown Lutheran Cemetery.
