Keenan A. Lawrence Keenan A. Lawrence, 18, of Belmar Road, Franklin, passed away at 5:20 p.m., unexpectedly on Monday, November 14, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born March 16, 1993, in Franklin, Keenan was the son of Donald L. Lawrence, Jr. and Brandy Dunlap, of Franklin. Keenan was a 2011 graduate of Franklin High School and was self-employed as a Metal Scrapper. He enjoyed drawing and making people laugh. In addition to his parents, Keenan is survived by his brothers, Donald Lawrence III of Franklin and Guy Dodge, a student at Slippery Rock University. He is also survived by his grandparents, Joy Sweetapple and her husband, Donald, of Franklin; his grandparents, Sharon and Kenneth Thornton of Clarion, his grandmother, Karen Lawrence, of Franklin, his great-grandmother, Jean Dunlap, of Indiana, PA; and his great-grandmother, Eleanor Montgomery, of Franklin. Keenan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Dunlap; and his paternal grandfather, Donald Lawrence, Sr. Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Friday, November 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jesse Mook, cousin of Keenan, officiating. Memorial contributions made be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
