Olive Elizabeth Latchaw, 75, of North Tonawanda, New York and formerly of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Eastern Niagara Regional Hospital in Newfane, New York. Olive was born on June 14, 1936 in Cooperstown, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Elsie Brown. On June 30, 1957, she married Charles Lewis Latchaw, who survives her. Along with spending time with her family and her two Yorkies, Nellie and Peanut, Olive enjoyed bingo and bowling. She was a most loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. In addition to her husband, Olive is survived by her daughters, Beth Bock (Norman) of Lewiston, New York; Gail Latchaw of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Edith Perkins (David Hooper) of North Tonawanda, New York; and Sue Carlson (Tim) of Garner, North Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Hannah and Natalie Bock; Paul Dixon; Brandon and Meredith Perkins; and Alissa and Autumn Carlson. She is predeceased by her sister, Dollie Latchaw. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, Pennsylvania, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 3, 2012 with the Rev. Joseph P. Martin, Jr., Pastor of the Cooperstown United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Lupher Chapel Cemetery.
