Barry P. Fitzgerald

Barry P. Fitzgerald Barry P. Fitzgerald, 64, formerly of Elk Street, Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, at 1:25 a.m. at Sugar Creek Station, where he had resided for the past several years. Born December 20, 1945, in Boyers, Pennsylvania, Barry was the son of the late Paul and Hazel McGuirk Fitzgerald. He had been employed as an Auto Mechanic at Allegheny Toyota, Lowry's Auto Body, and most recently at Randy's Auto Body in Polk . Mr. Fitzgerald enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by his brother, James Fitzgerald. Barry is survived by his five daughters, Shellie Collins and her husband, George, of Matthews, North Carolina, Julie White and her husband, Robert, of Franklin, and Paula Fitzgerald, Joey Fitzgerald and Lori Fitzgerald, all of Franklin. He is also survived by his two brothers, Thomas Fitzgerald and his wife, Peg, and Joseph Fitzgerald, all of Boyers, Pennsylvania; and his three sisters, Karen Hedglin and her husband, Rodney, of Boyers, Pennsylvania, Bonnie Weiss and her husband, William, of Harrisville, and Patricia Shiban and her husband, Ronald, of Illinois. Mr. Fitzgerald is additionally survived by several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Friday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral Services for Mr. Fitzgerald will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday , October 15 in the Funeral Home, with the Rev.
