Twila L. Adams Twila L. Adams, 79, of Polk, passed away at 3:20 a.m. on Monday, August 22, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born January 7, 1932, in Clarion County, Twila was the daughter of the late Richard and Goldie McCool Carson. She was married to Lester Adams on March 23, 1950 and he survives. Twila was a homemaker. She and her husband, Lester had been married for 61 years. In addition to her husband, Twila is survived by her sons, Dennis Adams and his wife, Deborah, Ken Adams, Tom Adams, Rick Adams and his wife, Lisa, Jon Adams and his wife, Bobbie, Joe Adams, and Bob Adams and his wife, Penny, all of Polk; and her daughter, Lori Adams and her husband, Randall, also of Polk. She is additionally survived by her 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; and a family friend, Raymond Evanitz of Sandy Lake. In addition to her parents, Twila was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Carson; and her sister, Ethel Mae Carson. Family and friends of Twila will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services for Twila will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24 at 1 p.m. with Rev.
