Mary Lou Beach

Mary Lou Beach, 64, of Holland Towers, Meadville, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at her residence. Born May 11, 1946, in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Walter Beach and Jane Ellen Hexamer. She was past president of the Gill Council Tenants Association, and she was active with housing youth. She is survived by three sons, Jack "Eric" Shoffstall of Atlanta, Ga., and Shawn David Shoffstall and Todd Allen Shoffstall, both of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Justin, Shawn, Kayla, Shiyann and Andrew Shoffstall, and Andrea and Logan Cooper; two sisters, Shirley Ford and Nancy Hook, both of Franklin; three brothers, Jim Beach, Ken Beach and Mike Beach, all of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles "Butch" Beach, Ray Beach, John "Son" Beach and Walter "Bud" Beach. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin, with the Rev. James D. Ring officiating.
