Theron Ralph McDaniel

Theron R. (T.R.) McDaniel Jr. Theron R. (T.R.) McDaniel, Jr., 71, of Sugarcreek Boro, passed away at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at UPMC Northwest Medical Center, Seneca. Born November 28, 1938 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Theron R. and E. Jane Hancox McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel was married June 8, 1962 to Beverly J. Young, who preceded him in death. Mr. McDaniel worked for Joy Manufacturing as a Mechanic and had been retired from there for several years. He was a member of the Rocky Grove Avenue Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his son, Theron R. (T.R.) McDaniel III of Franklin; his brother, William L. McDaniel, also of Franklin; and his two half-sisters, Betty Whitman and Phyllis Snyder, both of Rockland. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by an infant brother; and his sister, Mabel VanBrussell. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28 at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin. Funeral Services for Mr. McDaniel will be held here at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John King, pastor of Sugarcreek United Methodist Church, presiding.
