Corabel M. Mitchell Corabel M. Shorts, Wilson, Mitchell, age 93 passed away on the evening of December 18, 2009 at 9:45 PM. She was born August 11, 1916, a daughter of the late Oren M. Shorts and Margaret Henninger Shorts. She is survived by sons, Wayne H. Wilson of Oil City and Donald L. Wilson and his wife, Linda of Cooperstown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 brothers, Lewis Shorts and his wife, Charlotte, of Meadville and DeWayne Shorts and his wife, Marjorie of Cooperstown, a sister-in-law, Ethel Shorts of Cranberry and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Earl Wilson and Paul Mitchell; 3 brothers, Oren Shorts, Frank Shorts, and Ralph Shorts; and her sister, Grace Shorts. She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Dempseytown. Friends may call at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, from 3 to 7 pm Monday, December 21, and on Tuesday, December 22 from 10 to 11 am. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, December 22 in the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Saxman presiding. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
