John M. "Beaver" Voloshin John M. "Beaver" Voloshin, 62, of 3 Pennsylvania Ave., Apt. H, Franklin, died at 4:12 p.m. at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. Born February 15, 1948, in Titusville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Stella Barlog Voloshin. John had been employed at Polk Center as an attendant. He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church; V.F.W. Post #1835; and Eagles #328. He enjoyed golf and football. John is survived by his three sisters: Patricia Voloshin of Franklin; Mary Ward and her husband, LeRoy of Rocky Grove; and Linda Bickel of Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Voloshin. A service for John will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, with Deacon Dick Reed, from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, presiding. Military Honors will be accorded by the local V.E.T.S. Honor Guard. Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
