Phyllis Boyles, 66, of 841 15th Street, Franklin, died at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at UPMC Northwest. Born July 16, 1942, in Meadville, Mrs. Boyles was the daughter of Mary Wims. Mrs. Boyles was a housewife and enjoyed her grandchildren, drawing, woodworking and being a "handyman." She was married to Kenneth Boyles who preceded her in death in January 1977. Mrs. Boyles is survived by four children, Steve Deeter and his wife, Brenda, of Franklin; Grover Deeter and his wife, Nancy, of Oil City; Harold Deeter and his wife, Dawn, of Franklin; Wanda Stevens and her husband, Clarence, of Franklin; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Wanda Hefferman and her husband, Dale, of Franklin; Shirley Grove of Franklin; four brothers, Nate Crawford and his wife, Peach, of Franklin; David Crawford and his wife, Barb, of Arkansas; Philip Crawford and his wife, Phyllis, of Franklin; Clarence Crawford and his wife, Janet, of Guys Mills; and a very special niece, Carol Grove and her husband, Wally, of Franklin. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Boyles was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gilbert Crawford. Friends may call at Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Visitation hours will be from 2 to and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Richard E. Cauvel Jr. of Franklin Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. A Christian Wake and interment will take place at Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.   3. My deepest symphathies on the loss of your mom. I only visited her twice in the hospital, but she seemed to have such a peace about her condition, and didn’t complain. You are in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
