Melissa M. Beach, 44, of 10 Arbor Circle, Apt. 101, Franklin, died at 7:25 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. at UPMC Northwest. Born March 21, 1964, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Adelmer and Marjorie Wyant Lowrie. She worked as a dishwasher for Sugarcreek Station. Mrs. Beach was a member of Franklin Free Methodist Church. She married Kevin L. Beach Nov. 1, 1984, and he survives. Also surviving are her mother, Marjorie Lowrie of Franklin; four children, Paul, William, Jonathan and Jessie Beach, all at home; three sisters, Marjorie Heffern and husband, Dennis, of York, Donna Snyder and husband, David, of Franklin and Barbara Balot of Oil City; and three brothers, Robert Lowrie and wife, Patricia, of Franklin, Thomas Lowrie and wife, Lisa, of Nickleville and Kenneth Lowrie of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her father. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Walford, of Franklin Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses. Condolences can be sent online at www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.
