Patricia Ann Sires

Patricia Ann Sires, 76, of 1220 Chestnut St., Franklin, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born Feb. 1, 1933, in New York, she was the daughter of Archie M. Bigley and Miriam Estella Betz. She was married Feb. 18, 1955, to Robert W. Sires, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Sires had been employed at the Venango County jail as a dietary aide. She enjoyed yard sales, gardening and her pets. She is survived by a son, Robert Randy Sires and his wife, Janine, of Slippery Rock. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cochener, and a sister, Louise Woods. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev.
