Sandra L. i??Buckyi?? Aikins, 70, of 10 Arbor Circle, Franklin, died at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born May 15, 1937, in Polk, she was the daughter of Arthur Cline and Virginia Lou Snyder. Mrs. Aikins worked as a MRA as Polk Center and also worked at Hossi??s, Thrift Drug and UCIP for four years before retiring in 2002. She enjoyed music and played keyboard and guitar. Her family was her life, particularly her children and grandchildren. Her husband, Robert D. Aikins, died in 2001. Surviving are eight children, Mark Page of Utica, Craig Choffel and wife, Monica, of Ogden, Utah, Cpt. Richard Beggs Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Germany, Debra Snyder and Roger King of Utica, Tamara Scheffer-Krizon and husband, Mark, of Frankliin, Sherri Choffel and Jerry McFall of Lamartine, Melissa Rector and Rod Stover of Oil City and Trina Knox and husband, Marc, of Franklin; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She also is survived by a sister, Nancy Lee Ritchey of Franklin; and a brother, Dan Feltenberger and wife, Sandy, of Kennerdell. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Michael Feltenberger; one sister, Charlene Royer; a nephew, Brian James Feltenberger; and a grandson, Alan Lee Snyder Jr. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Jonathan Bell of the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Old Sandy Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
