Barbara J Davis

Barbara J. Davis, 70, of 10 Taylor St., Franklin, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born June 16, 1939, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late John G. Kuhn and Gwendolyn Heffernan Kuhn. Mrs. Davis worked a secretary at both Franklin Hospital and Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Davis was married to Thomas S. Davis, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two children, Ted Davis and wife, Tammi, of Reno, and Randy Davis and wife Polly, of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Jason Davis of Franklin, Jonelle Davis of Arlington, Va., Christian Barilar and Marcus Barilar, both of Punxsutawney; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden Davis of Franklin, and George Hoag of Erie. Also surviving is her stepfather, Fred W. Baum of Rocky Grove. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Edmond Gresick of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
