Harold Lloyd Goodwill, 82, of Union City, died on February 15, 2022 at UPMC Hamot after an extended illness. Born in Corry, PA on April 9, 1939, he was the son of the late Carl and Alice (VanGuilder) Goodwill. On October 30, 1965, he married the love of his life, Barbara Hoag, and she survives. Harold was a hard working man who loved to farm and most recently loved to log with his 2 teams of horses. He was very opinionated and enjoyed a good conversation and debates with anyone who would listen. Family was his main priority, especially keeping track of the family history. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all. Along with his wife, Barbara, left to cherish his memory are his children, Eric Goodwill of Erie and Lorrie Troutman and her husband, Bob, of Union City; his grandchildren, Nichole Weisner and her companion, Steven, of Erie, Amy Witherow and her husband, Shaun, of Butler, and Aaron Troutman and his companion, Karissa, of Union City; his great-grandchildren, Kourtnie Nitschke, Madisyn Schaefer, Landin Weisner, Jalynn Weisner, Mylei Schaefer, Alex Witherow, Kylee Troutman, Abby Anthony and Elliette Witherow; and his great-great granddaughter, Kennley Kerstetter. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Winifred Johnson and Hazel Drake; his brother, Howard "Woody" Goodwill; and his great granddaughter, Lisa Troutman. Friends and family are invited to the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City on Monday, February, 21, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services for Harold will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Lea Guiney, pastor of the Union City First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sanford Cemetery, Grand Valley, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's name to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511 and/or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087.
