Blaine Edwin Tarr, 59, of Greenville, formerly of Townville, passed away on January 26, 2022 at UPMC Horizon in Greenville, PA.
Born on May 18, 1962 in Meadville, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence Tarr and Karen (Manross) Bailey.
Blaine was a graduate of Maplewood High School. He worked as a truck driver for 35+ years.
He married the love of his life, Diana P. Graves on May 18, 1985 who survives.
Blaine was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and enjoyed attending the games.
Blaine enjoyed playing various sports and would always strive to be the best he could be at whatever sport he chose. He loved Sunday golf and the gang at Shenango Lake. Disc golf with his son was one of his favorite things to do even during the winter months. He recently took up bowling with his wife and son.
The one thing all will remember of Blaine is his sense of humor and sarcasm, usually with a lack of a filter. You never knew what was coming out of his mouth but rest assured it was always entertaining.
He loved his family fiercely (even the in-laws) and would do anything for them.
Along with his loving wife, his memories will be cherished by his children; Brittany Tarr (William Samuels) of Sharon and Tyler Tarr of Greenville ; his grandchildren Jayden, Isaiah, Cameron, Carson, and A’mare; his sister Kelly Tarr; step-brothers James Oakes, Jason Oakes and Jared Oakes. Also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, step-mother, Joyce Tarr, and his mother-in-law, Sherri Graves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Carl Graves, brother-in-law Gary Graves and several aunts and uncles.

Blaine was a unique individual, who fit in our family perfectly. He was smart, funny, and worked very hard to provide for his family. You could tell how much he loved his wife and children , by the way he was involved with their lives. Diana and Blaine knew early in life, they were meant to be together and loved each other deeply. Blaine was the kind of guy people never say anything bad about, because he never gave them a reason. He joked, but the harder he was on you, the more he liked you. He used to greet every new guy, I brought to a family function with, “What’s the matter with you? I know there’s something, you came with her!” I loved it …. It was a chance to see if the guy could take a joke, a really important quality to have. (Especially in our family) My sincerest sympathy to Diana and all his family, he was a big hearted man, with a big smile, his loss will leave much emptiness. Sending prayers for them to heal, hugs to know we care, and love always.
To Blaine’s family, you have my deepest condolences and sympathy. I’m a shipper at Main Steel, owned by Samuel. Blaine came into our facility almost everyday to haul steel. Blaine and I would take a break and have pleasant conversation every time he came in. I will miss his humorous sarcasm. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
