He owned and operated the furniture and flooring business with his family until his retirement in 2006 when his son, Jeffrey took over the family business.

Being a newcomer to Meadville, I was grateful to get to know the affable Mr. Warren at Chovy’s. When I discovered that his background was in the same industry as my wife’s interior design and home furnishings business, it was the first of many wonderful conversations. He always enjoyed hearing about our most recent visit to the High Point Home Furnishings Market or the Las Vegas Market. I enjoyed his stories about the Jamestown Market and others. He enjoyed telling me how beautiful his wife Shirley was, and my heart ached when he would talk about her. During one visit to High Point, when a furniture rep saw Meadville on my name tag, he asked if I knew Bill Warren. When I said I did, he was eager to hear about how he was doing. That rep also spoke of Shirley’s beauty. Mr. Warren once insisted on taking my wife and me to dinner at the Iroquois Club. We were reluctant to take advantage, but he said it would help him make his minimum. We enjoyed such an evening with him three times, as I recall. Jeffrey, Ryan and Curtis: He always enjoyed talking about your successes. Getting to know Mr. Warren was a blessing of having moved to Meadville.
We wish you peace, comfort, and joy.
