Thomas J. Hoffman

Thomas J. Hoffman, 78, of Meadville, passed away, Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 24, 1943 in Pittsburgh, a son of Joseph Hoffman and Dorothy Vondran Hoffman. He married Christine G. Bertram. He enjoyed watching all Pittsburgh sports, traveling, and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine Hoffman of Meadville; two daughters, June Schmiedlin and her husband Charlie of Pittsburgh and Dawn Jones and her husband Mike of Meadville; three grandsons, Brandon Hoffman, Charlie Schmiedlin, and Thomas Hoffman III; three great grandchildren, Justice, Brandon, and Mia; and a sister, Elizabeth Bechtold of Pittsburgh. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tammy Hoffman; and a sister, Barbara Ann Gibson. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
