Michael V. Troyer, 48, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home in Union City, Pennsylvania. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and much more to his many friends and associates. Born November 4, 1972 in Union City, he was the third child of Roger V. Troyer. Michael was a graduate of Union City High School where he was a member of the football team. He was an entrepreneur who worked in the family business eventually assuming ownership of the Sugar and Spice restaurant in Waterford, Pennsylvania. Michael maintained the owner operator role for over twenty years. Michael was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed spending free time with his family and friends, and vacationing in Florida during the winter. Michael is survived by his wife, Dawn Troyer; his children, Marie (12) and Grant (9); and six siblings. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, September 24th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 am at Beaverdam Mennonite Church, 17721 Route 89, Corry, with Pastor Randy Carr, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Cemetery of Beaverdam. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations may be made in Michael's memory to I Am ALS, at (www.iamals.org) or to a charity of the donor's choice. Trigger and I have been really good, I always consider him as a great, friends since 9th grade and even though over the years the work, family and just life aw we know it didn’t let us pal around like in high school to this day I could always swing by Sugar n Spice, pop in the back door right into the kitchen and say “Whasss uuuppp” and be welcome with a big smile laugh my brother Trigger Mike.

  2. I’m truly sorry for your loss. I’m at a loss for words. My family has been a part of your families lives since your were little mike. You will be missed. I used to come see you and Mandy in kitchen. U always gave me hugs. Kelly is waiting for you and so is your dad. Luv ya buddy.

  3. Cheryl and I are so sorry to here of Mike’s passing.
    I met Mike when I started calling on him at the restaurant in 2003. Over the years we enjoyed a great professional relationship and more importantly became great friends. Mike was a true gentleman and great person. I learned a lot about the restaurant business from him and he always had time for me.
